A Rain Walk
Thank you for booking a ticket for A Rain Walk.
Below is some important information regarding the performance.
This show will involve you taking a walk in the rain whilst listening to a soundtrack we have created for you. Your walk can happen at any time and in any place, whenever it is raining and you have 40 minutes to spare.
You will need a smartphone (or MP3 player) to listen to the show as you walk. You will also need a pair of headphones to listen to the piece. Each person who intends to experience the show will need their own device on which to download and listen to the piece – try and press play at the same time when you begin.
We recommend you obtain the audio track now so that you are ready to go when you want to experience the show.

You should have received a small box, which you will need before you begin the performance. If you have not received this yet then please contact the venue where you obtained your ticket.
A Rain Walk involves being outside in the rain for approximately 40 minutes, including around 20 minutes of walking at your own pace. You can of course wear a coat and bring an umbrella!
When you have finished the performance we encourage you to share a photograph of your rainy journey on social media with the hashtag #arainwalk and tag English Touring Theatre.
We hope you enjoy the show,
